The accounts payable (AP) process is often referred to as the backbone of corporate transaction processing and is considered a financially significant process in all industries. As a result, the internal controls required for the AP process are critical to a company’s financial well-being since a well-designed internal controls and metrics program can detect and prevent fraud. An economic slowdown can bring out the fraudsters that are ready to take advantage of the “new normal.”
This webinar dissects the components of the AP process and provides examples of the key controls and metrics to consider. Attendees will learn the methodology for implementing an automation solution needed to support a remote workforce in these unprecedented times.
